Over 10,000 submissions on climate change

SBC and CLC's joint submission to the Climate Change Commission is available to read on our website, and we're very proud that it's one of 10,000 submissions received by the Commission. Not only did many of our members give their input to our submission, but they also developed their own, so a big thank you to the SBC and CLC community for your mahi. There's strength in numbers, and your shared passion for taking action on climate change shows great leadership in the business sector.

Climate Action Toolbox

A major collaboration between SBN,, NZTA, NZTE, EECA, BNZ, and Meridian Energy has seen the launch of the Climate Action Toolbox, a free resource to help businesses to reduce their carbon emissions. The toolbox provides a self-assessment to identify which areas are relevant to your business. Under each area, you can choose from a range of specific actions to improve your organisation's climate impact.
