Over 10,000 submissions on climate change | SBC and CLC's joint submission to the Climate Change Commission is available to read on our website, and we're very proud that it's one of 10,000 submissions received by the Commission. A major collaboration between SBN, business.govt.nz, NZTA, NZTE, EECA, BNZ, and Meridian Energy has seen the launch of the Climate Action Toolbox, a free resource to help businesses to reduce their carbon emissions. The toolbox provides a self-assessment to identify which areas are relevant to your business. Under each area, you can choose from a range of specific actions to improve your organisation's climate impact.

Search for sustainable packaging with NZ Post | NZ Post is committed to using 100% reusable, recyclable or compostable packaging by 2025, and part of their process is finding the most sustainable packaging. They've undertaken a life cycle assessment of their various packaging options with thinkstep-anz. The winner? NZ-made, 80% recycled plastic LDPE, which has a 2.6 times lower carbon footprint than their existing packaging.
