Emissions Reduction Plan update

In light of the move to Alert Level 4, the Government has delayed the release its draft Emissions Reduction Plan (ERP), responding to the recommendations of the Climate Change Commission. We don’t have a new date yet, but it is likely to be in the next week or two. We will update you as soon as we hear more.

Zespri responds to changing climate

Zespri’s new Climate Change Strategy identifies the climate risks it faces, outlines the targets it has set, and the actions it is taking to invest for the future. 

DB switches to electric forklifts 

DB has transitioned from LPG to electric forklifts at two of its largest production sites, Waitemata Brewery and DB Draught Brewery, reducing carbon equivalent to 350 return flights between Queenstown and Auckland. 

Fairtrade Fortnight 2021 

FairtradeANZ had an extremely successful Fairtrade fortnight (6 to 19 August), including working with seven Instagram influencers to reach over 250,000 people and increase awareness of the Fairtrade brand and products.  

Donate your e-waste   

Tripping over your old tech in level 4?  Save them for when it's safe to donate again. Recycle A Device is working with members like Spark to close the digital divide by bringing laptops and tech engineering skills to students and young people while at the same time reducing e-waste.
