SBC's Thriving People: Helping your staff be future ready 

SBC's Manager Thriving People, Robert Perry, has worked with several SBC members from different sectors to create the Future Ready: Money Confidence micro-credential pilot. Designed to support those most at risk of being negatively affected by changes in the world of work, the program was delivered to staff at Sanford Ltd who benefit from classes increasing their financial literacy, numeracy and budgeting skills, and gaining access to digital tools to aid this.

Our joint SBC and CLC workshop discussing our draft advice, as we prepare our submission to the CCC, is this Monday, 1 March at 12pm. The Zoom link will be sent to members on Friday morning and we look forward to seeing you on Monday at 12pm. Thank you to all those who have participated in our previous two workshops - your insight is valuable. 

A note that the Climate Leaders Coalition have extended the consultation period for submissions on their draft report by two weeks. Consultations will now close 28 March. 

Open letter for an inquiry into the Modern Slavery Act

Deloitte and World Vision invite businesses to sign an Open Letter calling on the New Zealand Government to commence an inquiry into whether New Zealand should implement supply chain transparency legislation.

Leading the Charge: The CFO Climate & Sustainability 2021 Programme
Auckland | Starting Monday 1 March
The CFO and Sustainability training programme is open to Pānui subscribers. Developed in partnership with Deloitte, this short course empowers CFOs to take the lead in managing climate change risk. It builds on our 2020 pilot programme developed specifically at the request of CFOs and shaped by their insights.
